Senior boy Ephrata Wa {Quincy, Moses Lake, Soap Lake, Grant County WA}

I had the best time photographing this young man. I got a glimpse into the future of what it is like to torture your senior children ;) His parents were a riot and wanted him to pose this way and that… wear this, wear that, here try these shades, turn this way. Dad ran up and fixed his hair while he tried to stop him… in general it was very entertaining LOL I barely had to do anything but shoot the photos because this Momma had his photos all planned out in her head… and he was not pleased with all her plans LOL I will say he took it all in amazing stride and followed directions and ended up with some awesome photos! I can’t wait to get some more seniors under my belt after photographing the few I did in 2012! They were great fun. I think Ephrata just has some awesome kids all around ;)

Ephrata Senior Boy { Ephrata, Moses lake, Soap Lake, Quincy WA, Photographer}

When I got the call to photograph this senior I was a bit nervous as I’d never photographed a senior boy before and had only really done one senior before him! I ended up so very pleased with what we created for him! I found through photographing him that my confidence level in myself grew and that I enjoy photographing seniors! They are not as difficult as families in there is only ONE person to photograph, and that one person is there to get photos taken because they want photos taken! Well for the most part. ;) I love the cooperation that the seniors give and how they follow my direction so well. We wanted a place that was different from other senior photos in the Grant County area and I was pretty sure I knew of a great place to go! So off we went and created some amazing photos for this guy. Thank you to Hunter for giving me the pleasure to work with you :) Your sense of humor put me at ease so quickly and I was thankful for that!!!!

Happy Engaged Couple { Engagements, couples, Ephrata Wa, Grant County, Photographer, Photography }

After having to reschedule due to a nasty windy day we finally got together and were ready for some serious photography for this adorable couple who was set to be Wed in November. Unfortunately for us after a few days of GORGEOUS weather, the day of the photoshoot ended up windy as EVER. It was ridiculous! After driving 30min to get to the location and having them both there dressed and ready for anything (dog Nesta was ready as well!) we decided to give it our best try even with the terrible wind. I’m so glad we did! The wind stunk… but the light was GORGEOUS that evening! Due to some wind issues and crazy blowing hair we decided to do a re-shoot to see what we came up with. In the end I think this couple had an amazing gallery with some amazing photos to remember this special time in their lives :) Thank you to both of you for allowing me to photograph you time and time again! Keep me in mind when you start making babies! ;)

Oh how I love this family. They have been my victims willing photography subjects from day one. Heather is the first person to let me go out and learn manual with my camera at Oasis Park here in Ephrata, WA and she keeps coming back to me time and time again for more photos as I continue to grow! Love everything about all of them. The goal for this shoot was Fall Colors and I think we achieved that look!!! I love the variety that they bring to a photoshoot… everything from family photos to kids to couples to sisters to Aunties with nieces and nephews!
As shown in the first photo, it’s not always fun and games and kids won’t always cooperate, but in the end we make magic happen! I will never stop laughing when I see this specific photo. I captured the parents frustrated while the children smile on lovingly as if doing nothing wrong LOL

Loving the end of summer Lighting!…… {Ephrata, WA Grant County WA Family Photographer}

This family is near and dear to my heart, and having the chance to photograph them was a great time :) It was my first opportunity to photograph in an Apple Orchard and I loved it! The locations they helped me find to take their photos were to die for and ended up making gorgeous stuff. Thank you HOPE family for trusting me with your memories! Your babies are so stinking cute and I look forward to many more photoshoots in the future.

Super fun large family group photo!! {Ephrata wa, Family photographer}

When I was contacted to take this family’s photos I was a little nervous knowing they were a large group! Large Family Photo groups can be so intimidating. Once I met them my fears were at ease, they were awesome and SO FUN to work with! They were up for almost anything we threw at them, although Dad/Grandpa wasn’t so sure about sitting down on the ground ;) Sometimes a beautiful shot is painful to make happen. My absolute favorite part of this session was the fact that they brought along their own props to do some “fun” poses with! How great are they?? I hope to have the opportunity to capture this family again in the future!

Precious baby girl and family {Ephrata, WA Newborn Family Photographer}

I was so lucky to get to photograph this baby girl and her family! Her Mom was worried being right at the age of 2 weeks she wouldn’t cooperate, but she ended up being a dream baby and rocking it for the camera! Her brothers were so adorable with their baby sister, and the photo of the two boys with the baby is one of my favorite from this session! Who wouldn’t love to have these photos hanging up all over their walls? So dang cute I wanna put them on MY wall LOL

{ Seniors } Ephrata Grant County Wa Photographer

This year is my first real year in business and this was my first real senior to photograph here in Grant County. WOW She was stunning! I had a lot of nerves built up about this photoshoot, but what ended up happening was magical :) Probably my favorite photoshoot in all to date. I originally thought I would not love shooting seniors, but this experience has changed my mind and has booked me additional photoshoots! Sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet and surprise yourself!

My poor blog has suffered due to a busy fall full of photographs, holidays and life!! Be prepared to see all kinds of catch up going on around here during the quiet month of Photography which is January ;)
I was so lucky to photograph this baby girl and her sisters, and am pretty sure that I took my favorite photo to date during this session! This little girl stole the show and slept like a champ. She allowed me to try all kinds of posing and different things before waking up and I loved every moment of our session!

{Newborns} Ephrata, WA Photographer

I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph yet another gorgeous newborn from our little town of Ephrata, WA :) She gave me a run for my money for the first 1 1/2 hours. She wasn’t grumpy at all, she was just wide awake and didn’t want to settle into a deep sleep. After some patience and sweat rolling off my brow I was successful and we won out over this sweetie pie :) Unfortunately we didn’t win as well over her big sister LOL Big sister was much more interested in playing then having us take photos with her new baby sister. I really love newborn photography, pretty sure it’s my favorite!!!!
